Kathy Griffin said “desperate times call for” Kim Kardashian to run for president in 2020.

“I’m just floating this idea: Kardashian-Daniels 2020,” the 57-year-old comedian told PEOPLE magazine Tuesday, suggesting that the 37-year-old reality star should run with porn star Stormy Daniels as her vice president.

“I’m not saying it’s perfect, but desperate times call for desperate measures,” she added, before naming another possible candidate, MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow, while promoting the North American leg of her comedy tour “Laugh Your Head Off.”

“President Maddow,” the comedian added. “Look, I’m full of ideas.”

Later, she said now she can laugh about what happened to her after a photo of her holding up a bloody, severed head of President Donald Trump surfaced last year, even making it part of her tour.

“The s— I couldn’t laugh at nine months ago, six months ago, I go, ‘Okay, I get it. It’s funny,'” Griffin said. “You have to admit it’s funny that anyone thought I was in ISIS.”

Last month, following Samantha Bee’s “feckless c**t” comment about Ivanka Trump, Griffin blamed the president after the TBS host apologized. She claimed comics were “held to a higher standard than the president.”

“Please do not be hard on @iamsambee for apologizing. While I was hoping she wouldn’t, I know first hand what it’s like being put through the Trump wood chipper..what she’s going through right now is crazy. All for a bleeped word. Comics held to higher standards than the president,” the comedian tweeted, along with a link to Bee’s apology for the “inexcusable” comment during her show “Full Frontal.”
