Dennis Rodman revealed Tuesday that White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders called him and gave him a special message.

“[Sanders] sent her best wishes and said that Donald Trump is really proud of you. He’s happy you’re having some type of part of this whole situation,” Rodman told AP News Tuesday.

Sanders also told Rodman that President Trump is “very happy to carry out the things” that Rodman has been talking about when it comes to North Korea.

Rodman has previously met with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un in 2014. Last night, he gave an emotional interview to CNN.

Rodman, donning a “Make America Great Again” hat, began crying, and said that Obama was not responsive to his concerns over North Korea. (RELATED: Dennis Rodman Sheds Tears Over North Korean Summit, Says Obama Would Not Recognize His Efforts)
