The Washington Capitals hockey team and their fans celebrated their first NHL championship Tuesday with a massive parade in D.C.

Some non-Caps fans are jokingly accusing Russia of colluding with the NHL to steal the win. That’s because of the three Russian players who are on the Capitals team, including star Alex Ovechkin.

When your team loses, blame Russia says most every Democrat since the 2016 election. So why can’t upset sports fans do the same?
