The mother of a fallen police officer killed by an illegal immigrant was on Fox and Friends to discuss the current policy of separating families at the U.S. border, Monday morning.

“What would a homeless American child or a homeless veteran do to have those kinds of facilities and three square meals? These are the people that Americans and our politicians are forgetting about, those are the people who need to be cared about,” Mary Ann Mendoza said.
On politicians’ lack of action on illegal immigration, she said, “You know, not providing e-verify, not getting proper funding for our border walls, allowing the DACA people to stay, chain migration —all these that things [Americans] want. Where is the concern for their fellow Americans? Over 4,300 American citizens are killed every year by illegal aliens.”
“When have you ever heard our stories on liberal media or heard one liberal politician talk about us?” Mendoza concluded.

Mendoza’s son, Sgt. Brandon Mendoza, was killed in Arizona in 2014. He was in a fatal car accident when a drunk illegal immigrant hit his car head-on. The immigrant had a prior record but was not deported.
