Co-host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Mika Brzezinski went after Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen and called her “extremely confused” for defending the Trump administration’s policy on immigration.
Brzezinski played clips of President Donald Trump, Nielsen and Fox News on Tuesday’s show, before stopping the tape each time to interject and share her opinion on every subject. (RELATED: Mika Brzezinski Absolves Dems Of Immigration Crisis, Calls Trump Policy ‘Blatantly Cruel’)
“Okay. So if the Democrats give the president his border wall, this policy stops?” Brzezinski said. “That actually makes [illegal immigrant children] pawns. That makes them leverage. Madam secretary, you seem extremely confused.”

She then played a clip of Fox News clarifying the conditions of the immigrant detention centers and referred to the rival network as “Trump TV.”
“Thanks Trump TV — so not cages,” she added. “Just walled cells with chain link fences.”
Brzezinski continued the segment by playing clips of Nielsen at Monday’s press briefing and claimed the administration is weakening America’s standing with the rest of the world.
“Let me help you out,” she concluded. “Ripping children from their parents is cruel. It’s inhumane and it’s weakening our nation’s standing around the world.”
