House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi somehow found a way to blame President Donald Trump for California Rep. Maxine Waters’ call for protesters to form mobs and harass members of the Trump administration.

“In the crucial months ahead, we must strive to make America beautiful again. Trump’s daily lack of civility has provoked responses that are predictable but unacceptable. As we go forward, we must conduct elections in a way that achieves unity from sea to shining sea,” Pelosi tweeted Monday.

Waters, a Democrat, told a group gathered at a rally in California Sunday that they should continue to harass members of the Trump administration and to make sure Trump officials and supporters know they aren’t welcome “anymore, anywhere.” (RELATED: Scalise Responds To Maxine Waters)

“If you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” Waters said.

Waters issued a warning to the president and members of his administration Sunday, claiming the protest efforts are only just beginning.
