President Donald Trump expressed his anger Monday at the Department of Justice and the FBI for not being forthcoming with documents to the Congress.

Trump’s tweet appears to be in response to a segment on Fox and Friends early Monday morning with Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows who lamented the difficulty Congress has had in extracting documents and information from the DOJ and the FBI.

“Here we are in nine months we can’t even get 25,000 documents,” Meadows complained, adding that the chamber will vote later this week “to compel DOJ and FBI to make sure that they get those documents.”

Congress is currently attempting to obtain thousands of documents relating to the FBI’s early investigation into the Trump 2016 campaign. Conservative lawmakers are especially concerned that the documents contain evidence of alleged systematic bias throughout both organizations.
