Failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton told an Oxford University audience Monday that President Donald Trump could threaten due process for all Americans.

As The Hill reports, Clinton was speaking to the current immigration crisis and Trump’s insistence that due process shouldn’t be applied to illegal immigrants when she asked, “Who is next?”

“Today, the American president tweeted that there should be no judicial process. There should be no due process for anyone that crosses the border,” Clinton said in a video that can be found on the NTK Network. “And I can’t help but think — if you strip immigrants and asylum-seekers of due process and judicial review — who is next?”

Trump specifically said that illegals should be sent back without a formal hearing because they broke the law when they entered the country.

“When somebody comes in, we must immediately, with no Judges or Court Cases, bring them back from where they came. Our system is a mockery to good immigration policy and Law and Order,” Trump tweeted.

Clinton’s suggestion that Trump is trying to negate civil liberties in America is a common theme for the former first lady. As The Hill notes, Clinton recently suggested that democratic rights in America “are under assault like never before.”
