Member of European Parliament Nigel Farage said German Chancellor Angela Merkel is “finished” as the country’s leader, because of her caviler attitude towards immigration.
“[Germany] let in 1.6 million people. In fact they actually encourage people to cross the Mediterranean because Mrs. Merkel said ‘We can cope.’ That is leading to huge social problems in Germany,” Farage said Monday on “Varney & Company.” (RELATED: Nigel Farage Tells Trump To Ignore The Screams Of Liberal Media)

Farage thinks Merkel could beg the German people on her knees for forgiveness and it still wouldn’t make up for all the damage she’s caused.
“I don’t think, even if Mrs. Merkel went down on her knees and said ‘I’m sorry’ to the German people, that frankly that’s good enough,” he concluded. “She has to pay the price for one of the biggest political mistakes.”
