Soccer finds mixed interest in the United States. Some people refer to it as “the beautiful game” and can’t understand why the United States is the only country in the world that isn’t totally invested in the World Cup. Others think it’s boring and that they’d rather watch American football.
Whether you like soccer or not, almost everyone agrees that flopping to draw the foul is stupid. It has to be the least American thing in the world. My God, people! Stand up and shake it off. Rub some dirt in it, you pansies!
