Melania Trump rang in the Fourth of July Wednesday at the White House dressed in a gorgeous blue and white gingham dress.

The first lady looked extremely patriotic in the 3/4 length sleeve dress that went all the way to the floor.

She completed the festive look with loose hair, a bright red leather belt around her waist and red flat shoes.

The first lady and President Donald Trump hosted an evening picnic for military members and their families on the South Lawn. Later, they will have a fireworks viewing party for the families.

“Our freedom only exists because there are brave Americans willing to give their lives to defend it and defend our great country,” Trump shared, according to a White House press report. “American liberty has been earned through the blood, sweat, and sacrifice of American patriots.”
