Before President Donald Trump announced Brett Kavanaugh as his pick to replace Anthony Kennedy on the Supreme Court, several hundred protesters gathered at the Supreme Court to voice their opposition to the choice.
The protesters, labeled “grassroots” by a Vox reporter, were joined by Democratic leaders like Sen. Elizabeth Warren. Since no one was quite sure who the pick would be, the protesters came prepared with signs featuring the names of the most likely justice nominees.
“Gotta be prepared,” a protester told Breitbart News editor Amanda House.

For a moment this evening, the Stop Barrett sign was on the podium before it was quickly replaced. I hope these morons save the sign for the next go around… https://t.co/0NtXeyRQNd

The protests also had a dark side. Long-time Fox News court reporter and host Shanon Bream was harassed and threatened by the protesters to the point of having to leave her broadcast location in front of the court.
