“It’s just never recovered since she stepped away from the company,” an insider told Page Six.

Shortly after her father President Donald Trump assumed office in January 2017, Trump stepped down from leading the company in an effort to eliminate any potential conflicts of interest as she took on a role in the White House.

Since her exit from the company, the line has struggled with sales. A number of stores like Nordstrom, Burlington Coat Factory and TJ Maxx stopped selling the line due to a lack of demand from the public.

After Nordstrom decided to drop the line from its inventory in February 2017, Trump tweeted out support for her daughter.

“My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by Nordstrom,” Trump said. “She is a great person — always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!”
