The panel on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Wednesday gave Andrea Mitchell a round of applause to celebrate her 40th year at NBC.
This is not a euphemism — they literally physically clapped for her.

While not receiving rounds of applause, Mitchell recently compared President Trump criticizing the media to things said by Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin.
“This is something that we first heard from Joseph Stalin. This is very dangerous. It undercuts democracy,” she said in reference to Trump’s rhetoric.
