A 12-year-old Asian girl was abducted at Reagan National Airport Thursday, according to an alert from the District of Columbia.

“VA State Police has issued an Amber Alert for JinJing Ma, a 12-year-old Asian girl, 4’11, 90lbs, and medium black hair with brown eyes. Child was abducted from Ronald Reagan National Airport. Child was last seen wearing a white tee shirt, blue jeans pants, and a black jacket.”

The abductor is described as an “Asian female, 5 ft, wearing black dress.” Newsweek‘s report says the woman is 40. It also says the pre-teen is believed to be in “extreme danger.”

Ma was in America on a tour group from China. According to the alert, she obtained her passport just prior to checking in and left her group. She then “met up with an unknown middle age Asian female, who assisted her in changing clothes. They then walked together to the arrivals area of the airport and disappeared out of camera view.”

A witness said he may have seen same woman in New York City “meet up with victim and hand her food.”
