MSNBC “Morning Joe” host Mika Brzezinski went on a rant about the president’s daughter and senior adviser Ivanka Trump for comments she made in an interview, on the show Friday morning.

WATCH:

“Ivanka has never talked about the topic, other than congratulating her father over Twitter after he stopped the policy that he created,” Brzezinski began. “Yet hundreds, possibly thousands, of children’s lives still hang in the balance, but that was a low point for her. So these kids are sitting in detention facilities. They’re at ‘summer camp,’ some would say, facing potentially never seeing their families again.”

“You’re going to have to try and act like this matters to the fabric of what this country was created upon. Who we are. This is not just a low point for you. This is not something you can throw away by calling it a low point for you. Like maybe your company and all the people you had to fire because it’s no longer politically convenient for you,” she continued.

Brzezinski’s comments were in regards to an Axios interview Ivanka Trump did on Thursday, in which she called the infamous immigration policy, “a low point.” She also, in the interview, was asked about the president’s rhetoric toward the press and broke with her father there, too. Mika added, “These are children who right now we don’t know where they are. We don’t know exactly how many there are. We don’t even know how they are. But we know that they are being abused because they have been ripped away from their families, and some of them will never see their families again.”
