Comedian Trevor Noah tried to bait President Donald Trump into talking about him on social media Monday, but failed to garner any attention from the White House.

Noah was discussing Trump’s feud with CNN’s Don Lemon and NBA star Lebron James on “The Daily Show” after the president attacked their intelligence on Twitter. (RELATED: Trevor Noah Calls GOP Rep. Jim Jordan A Scumbag, Compares Him To Joe Paterno)

“So once again, President Trump is feuding with a famous black person who dared to criticize him. And now it’s got all this attention,” Noah said on “The Daily Show.” “Which makes me wonder, what do I have to do!”

“Why do you ignore me Donald? Every night I’m out here. We even wrote a book!” he continued. “The Donald J. Trump, presidential Twitter library on sale everywhere. What do I have to do?”

Noah also said first lady Melania Trump has started to break away from her husband on certain issues.

“I’m starting to think that maybe Melania is not happy in her marriage. Because I mean this is insane. Now Melania’s saying she wants to go visit Lebron’s school? And don’t forget, this is now the fourth time that the first lady has gone publicly against her husband,” Noah said.

“She spoke out against kids in cages. She refused to stop watching CNN on Air Force One and remember, she has been spotted hanging out with vegetables.”

“English may not be her first language but she clearly is fluent in throwing shade,” he concluded. “Melania Trump has sided with Lebron. And if anything, I think Lebron should return the favor, because if there’s anyone who can tell her how to get out of an unhappy relationship, it’s him.”
