Porn star Stormy Daniels joined the United Kingdom’s reality television show “Celebrity Big Brother” for its redemption-themed season that starts Thursday.
“Stormy is the biggest signing for this year’s show and she’ll make headlines around the world,” an anonymous source told UK tabloid The Sun.
The season’s theme is “Eye of the Storm,” and the cast members will be asking “forgiveness for past scandals,” reported The Sun. (RELATED: Stormy Daniels’ Husband Says She Cheated, Wanted To Bring Daughter On Strip Tour)
Other celebrities on the season include Princess Diana’s former psychic Sally Morgan, U.S. actress Kirstie Alley and former broker Nick Leeson, who went to jail for fraudulent trading that cost his bank hundreds of millions of pounds, reported The Sun.
Daniels was arrested for letting customers touch her at a strip club in Ohio on July 12. The porn star and her husband, rock musician Glendon Crain, recently filed for divorce, announced Daniels’s lawyer Michael Avenatti.
Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, became a household name when she claimed she had an affair with President Donald Trump in 2006, before he was elected. The president denied the allegations as well as her claim that he knew she took $130,000 in hush money from Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen.
