Davis appeared on NBC’s “Megyn Kelly Today” to discuss Cohen’s guilty plea on various federal charges and tried to lobby the audience for donations. Davis recently set up a GoFundMe page for the public to help pay Cohen’s legal bills despite the fact that Cohen is a millionaire. “Could I just take one opportunity to remind everyone that Michael Cohen has suffered a tragic and difficult experience with his family?” Davis pleaded. “He’s without resources and we’ve set up a website called ‘Michael Cohen Truth dot com’ that we’re hoping that he will get some help from the American people so he can continue to tell the truth.”

The audience burst into laughter at Davis’ desperate cry for help.

“The audience … they don’t appear prepared to donate, Lanny,” Kelly told him.

Davis insulted the audience and suggested they don’t care about the truth, prompting some more jeers before Kelly ended the interview.
