The “Michael Cohen Truth Fund” is attracting pranksters who think it’s hilarious to make it seem like “Barron Trump” got in bed with his father’s enemy and donated $20. First lady Melania Trump has been rolling in anywhere from $10 to $20 all afternoon. Even White House Press Secretary “Sarah Huckabee Sanders” visibly donated $20.
The fund, invented by Cohen’s attorney Lanny Davis to finance the legal fees of President Trump‘s former lawyer, is full of liars. These accounts are obvious fakes.
On Tuesday, Cohen pleaded guilty to eight federal charges that included two felony campaign finance violations. In a plea deal, the President’s former fixer said his marching orders came from “the candidate” who is obviously then-candidate Donald Trump.
Late this afternoon, “Ivanka Don Erik Trump” donated $5 twice.
And Fox News’s “Sean Hannity” chipped in $5.
“Vlad Putin” also gave $5.
“Don Jr” was pretty cheap — he gave $5.
The Warden of Leavenworth Penitentiary generously contributed $5. Someone named “Mitch McConnell” pitched in $10.
The total amount raised so far is $145, 416 with a goal of $500K.
