CNN’s Jason Carroll went to Luzerne County, Pennsylvania to interview Democrats that voted for President Trump — to see how they feel about voting for him nearly halfway through his first term — in a segment that aired on Friday.

Luzerne County supported Barack Obama in the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections, but went to Donald Trump during the most recent election. The last Republican presidential candidate to win the county was George H.W. Bush in 1988.

Anne Marie Lenahan, a registered Democrat, voted for Trump. She said she could forgive Trump’s alleged affairs because the economy has improved for her, “unless it came from campaign funds. Then I don’t think it’s good.”

“We gotta get the politically correct things out of here, and get a businessman and get this country straightened out. Get the deficit down,” Richard Sorokas, a Democrat from the area, said to CNN back in February of 2017.

“Our retirement is in the stock market and the stock market has been growing for quite a while now. So I’m sort of happy with what’s happening with the economy,” Sorokas said when they interviewed him this time.
