President Donald Trump threatened to get involved in the FBI and the Department of Justice if it does not begin investigating efforts to undermine his campaign during the 2016 election.

Trump also pointed to his former opponent Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server and other alleged transgressions. “Look at what she is getting away with, but let’s see if she gets away with it,” thet president declared.

Trump declared “our Justice Department and our FBI, they have to start doing their job and doing it right and doing it now. People are angry. People are angry. What’s happening is a disgrace. At some point, if it doesn’t straighten out properly, I want them to do their job. I will get involved and I’ll get in there if I have to.”

The president has attacked his Attorney General Jeff Sessions for not pursuing investigations he believes the department is negligent on. Trump has also called for investigations into officials like Peter Strzok, Bruce Ohr, Lisa Page, and others implicated in potential efforts to undermine his campaign during the 2016 election.
