MSNBC reporter Kristen Welker stayed remarkably calm while battling a bee during her live shot on Monday.

Welker professionally ignored the bee as it flew around her several times and then eventually landed on her head. The bee stayed firmly planted for a few seconds before MSNBC went to a different shot. (RELATED: MSNBC Host Doesn’t Realize She’s On Air)

When the network went back to Welker, the bee was airborne again. Welker delicately shifted away from the creature when it got too close to her ear, but managed to avoid freaking out or swatting at the bee. (RELATED: VOTE: Which MSNBC Anchor Has The Best Glasses?)
