Fox News’ website beat the entire CNN brand for the second consecutive month, suggesting Fox’s rise in digital has staying power.

July marked the first month ever that FoxNews.com garnered more total page views than the CNN brand, which includes CNN.com, CNN Money, and other brand entities. (RELATED: Fox News’ Website Beats CNN Brand For The First Time Ever)

FoxNews.com continued its superiority in August, delivering 1.59 billion total page views versus CNN’s 1.53 billion, according to comScore data.

Fox’s upward trend in digital shows no signs of slowing down. Total page views for FoxNews.com increased 45 percent from the same month last year, total unique visitors increased 26 percent, and total minutes visitors spent on the sit increased 23 percent.

Meanwhile, CNN is losing its hold on its once-dominant online brand. The network’s total page views fell 14 percent against August last year, uniques fell 3 percent, and total minutes fell 14 percent.

Fox also beat CNN in total minutes, but CNN outpaced Fox in unique visitors during the month of August.
