President Donald Trump attacked the EU again on Tuesday, asserting during a press conference that the EU is “ripping off” the United States on trade.

Trump laid out his harsh stance on the EU during a joint presser Tuesday with President Andrzej Duda of Poland. Poland has been a member of the EU since 2004.

“I watch trade deficits because, to me, deficits are very important,” Trump said. “They’re not everything and they’re not exact — sometimes you can have, you know, a deficit and that’s not such a bad thing. But when you have $375 billion in trade deficits … you have to do something about it.”

“We are the piggybank to the world. We’ve been ripped off by China. We’ve been ripped off by — excuse me, Mr. President — the European Union, of which you’re a part of,” he said to slight laughter from the crowd.

Trump said he wants to protect American farmers and businesses by making fairer trade deals with other countries.

“We’re not being ripped off, you see, in a little while,” Trump concluded.
