Kellyanne Conway attacked the lawyers representing Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser for doing TV hits and releasing a long list of terms that must be met for her client to testify before the U.S. Senat on Monday.

Kellyanne, counselor to the president, told reporters Friday morning that she is “glad” that the attorneys representing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, was finally speaking with the Senate Judiciary.

The two attorneys, Debra Katz and Lisa Banks, have been criticized for not responding to the Senate Judiciary and also had to pull out of hosting a fundraiser for Senate Democrat Tammy Baldwin since the allegations have gone national.

“I’m glad her attorneys decided to get off TV and talk to the Senate Judiciary. That’s a good idea. And prepare her for that testimony,” Kellyanne said. “But the truth is the truth.”

The lawyers were also criticized by Mike Davis, chief counsel on nominations for the Senate Judiciary Committee under Chairman Chuck Grassley, who tweeted Thursday that Katz had not responded to his requests.

On Thursday, Debra Katz and Lisa Banks released a long list of conditions that need to be met by the Committee in order to have their client testify. Kellyanne called the conditions a “laundry list.”

“I think these conditions — I just heard a whole laundry list of them on CNN. Thanks for saying them. They’re growing. Seems they’re growing by the minute,” Kellyanne said.

Conway noted that the entire proceeding has already been delayed long enough by the accusations and delaying it further would be “politicizing the process.”

“Any delay beyond that, by Senators who already said they would vote against him, is politicizing the process,” Conway said. “It’s not fair to Kavanaugh. It’s probably not fair to Dr. Ford.”

Kellyanne noted that there have been many threats of harm and death against Kavanaugh and his family: “His young daughters, his wife don’t deserve that. He does not deserve that. None of you deserve it. He really needs to tone down the temperature that way. A lot of people are attacking him and his family, and it’s awful. It’s awful.”

Trump tweeted early Friday that he hopes there is a police report of the sexual assault Ford has claimed: “I have no doubt that, if the attack on Dr. Ford was as bad as she says, charges would have been immediately filed with local Law Enforcement Authorities by either her or her loving parents. I ask that she bring those filings forward so that we can learn date, time, and place!”
