Rep. Gosar Hits Back At His Siblings For Attack Ads, Endorsing Opponent — ‘Stalin Would Be Proud’

GOP Rep. Paul Gosar on Saturday hit back at his six siblings who chose to not only refuse to support his bid for a fifth term in Congress, but are openly campaigning for his Democratic opponent.

“Not one of my siblings lives in Arizona and my opponent’s policies are out of sync with what Arizona wants and the country needs,” Gosar tweeted Saturday. “I will not be deterred from fighting for our conservative values regardless of these attacks. My siblings who chose to film ads against me are all liberal Democrats who hate President Trump. These disgruntled Hillary supporters are related by blood to me but like leftists everywhere, they put political ideology before family. Stalin would be proud.” (RELATED: Arizona Congressman’s Siblings Endorse His Opponent)

Gosar followed that up with the observation that “you can’t pick your family.”

“See you at Mom and Dad’s house!” Gosar concluded, foreshadowing what is likely to be the most awkward Thanksgiving dinner ever.
