Chelsea Handler questioned whether or not Ivanka Trump was “a girl” following President Donald Trump’s comments about Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser Christine Blasey Ford.

“There really is no excuse for @IvankaTrump to remain in her position after her father mocked a victim of sexual assault,” the 43-year-old comedian tweeted Wednesday to her millions of followers. (RELATED: Chelsea Handler Says Graham Is ‘Being Blackmailed By Russia’)

“This isn’t another low point. It’s a gender war,” she added. “Is she [Ivanka] a girl?”

The comments were similar to the reports in some press outlets claiming the president mocked Ford at his rally Tuesday night in Mississippi by talking about the facts that she did and did not recall during her testimony last week in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Ford appeared on Capitol Hill as part of the hearing for Supreme Court justice nominee Kavanaugh following her sexual assault allegations against him.

The White House says that the president was not mocking Ford, but was “stating facts” to highlight what appear to be inconsistencies in her testimony.
