Burton A. Abrams
Research Fellow, Independent InstituteBurton A. Abrams is a Research Fellow at the Independent Institute, Director of the Institute's Government Cost Calculator (MyGovCost.org), and Professor of Economics at the University of Delaware. He is the author of the recent book, "The Terrible 10: A Century of Economic Folly." Professor Abrams received his Ph.D. in economics from Ohio State University and he has taught at the University of Split (Croatia), University of the Western Cape (South Africa), University of Adelaide, and Nankai University (China). He has also served as Staff Economist at the Federal Trade Commission and National Fellow at the Hoover Institution.
