Dipka Bhambhani is a communications specialist whose roots are in journalism. Based in New York, Dipka manages public and government affairs, and corporate public relations campaigns for various companies. Well versed in the energy sector and deeply connected to Washington D.C.’s energy and government community, she has helped positively position her clients among key influencers. <br /> <br /> Dipka is also steeped in the media and energy markets in New York where she is a board member of New York Energy Week, an active member of the U.S. Association of Energy Economics and works closely with the National Women’s Political Caucus.<br /> <br /> Additionally, Dipka has developed a Media 101 training program for public relations professionals and coaches business executives and individuals in Fortune 500 companies to develop their public speaking skills.<br /> <br /> Dipka has more than a decade of journalism experience working in all mediums of the communications field. She is an energy contributor on One America News Network, and she has written columns for The Daily Caller, AOL/Huffington Post and The Washington Post. She was an on-air and print reporter for energyNow, and its weekly investigative news program on WJLA-ABC7 in Washington. Dipka spent five years as an energy reporter for Platts, McGraw-Hill’s energy division. Outside of energy journalism, Dipka worked as a business writer for The Washington Times and as a magazine writer for The Washington Post Company covering technology news. <br /> <br /> Dipka was a member of the White House advance team for the 2012 Democratic National Convention and has been a regular guest lecturer for the National Journalism Center as a Hatton W. Sumner Research Fellow. As a member of the National Press Club’s Board of Governors, she served as chairman of the Events Committee, presidential adviser on the Speakers Committee, and Washington Press Corps liaison to the Embassy of India. She is also an affiliate of the White House Faith-based Council.<br /> <br /> Dee graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor's degree in journalism and a minor in Spanish with a certificate of Spanish culture and history from the University of Santiago de Compostela in Santiago, Spain. She also earned a graduate certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for completing its carbon capture and sequestration course in 2009.
