The bottom line, however you want to look at it, to Obama’s selection for Supreme Court is for his power only. Not only is Kagen not a correct choice for the nation but for the court as well; especially in this time of war and fiscal challenge. (more)

The people who watch politics closely expected it, the ones who didn’t assumed it, and now we know it. Through an internal U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service memo, the Obama administration blatantly confirmed amnesty is their number one objective regarding illegal immigration. Actually calling removal of persons who are not in the United States legally a "threat", this is not only proof of a Capitol Hill rumor that was just in the past few month showing teeth, but another spit mark on the Constitution made by our current leader. While Judge Susan Bolton lays out the “Welcome” mat for the illegal immigrants to enter our borders, she is threatening not only our immigration standards, but also our standards as a nation. Since the moment Governor Jan Brewer refused to allow ignorance of the White House to infect her state for another day, this was not about just about immigration totally but about what we wanted this nation to be. We are threatened daily by outside invaders and instead of protecting ourselves, we fight within our own legislative and judicial walls, complicating every aspect of it and back bite ourselves while our nation crumbles. Just around MemoGate I was an aspiring reporter who was prepping for a career in investigative journalism. In my spare time, I had a political Internet radio program called The Conservative Watchdog. This was the only place I allowed my political views to surface, especially as a consistent stringer reporter and intern. While at a New York Conference, I raised my hand to ask about my program and how it could assist me in some way through political reporting, the responding “Journalism Expert” stated: “You could always work for Fox News.” An eruption of laughter filled the room. Despite these “caps” that are continuing to be placed on the leaked pipe within the shores of the gulf, BP is and will continue to be a story which the nation has a right to hear about. Even after the spill is contained, its aftermath will continue and the nation needs to be updated on its progress; especially considering how Obama continues to disallow assistance from foreign allies despite our obvious inability to handle the situation alone. Now, not only is international assistance restricted, so is the media. (more)
Although America has already shown a historic height of dissatisfaction regarding our current president, the most alarming rejection is recently coming from a very surprising sector of politics: members of his own party. In a recent White House meeting, the nation’s democrat governors grumbled against the recent legal attack on Arizona for its newest immigration enforcement law S.B. 1070. Democratic Governor Phil Bredesen said, “Universally the governors are saying, ‘We’ve got to talk about jobs,’ and all of a sudden we have immigration going on.” (more)
America continually witnesses the Obama administration and its cronies living in a bubble where they are the greatest leaders of this nation and not the ones that are continually selling its future like the stock market. Recently, Obama advisor David Axelrod stated that America would be going “backwards” if they allowed the GOP to take the majority in 2010. Once again, we see the backwards thinking of the Obama administration. From day one, the presidency has been against everyone who supported them, majorly the youth, via so-called reform as well as ignoring the real issues that need the commander in chief’s attention. In an attempt to show face regarding the illegal immigration issue, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) recently began discussing an avenue which they believe shows that they know how to cure the infectious problem. “Silent Raids”, announced as an immense step in immigration reform, is an activity where federal agents quietly audit employee records of companies for possible illegal immigrants on their payroll. BP is deserving of no apology. The real apology should be to the American people. (more)
The Miranda Rights and what they entail has been a topic of both legal and political debate. However, recently there has been a development in the aspect of when the right to speak is waived. Our Supreme Court stated once a suspect begins to talk to police after being told he has no force placed on him to, he has waived the right. Against the dissent opinion of new Justice Sonia Sotomayor, the results of this case are not only in the police officer’s favor but also the courts. (more)
When it was announced that our current president will be going to his hometown to celebrate Memorial Day the response was almost laughable: At least Biden will be there. (more)
A group of people who had never been in a campaign have made history. Rand Paul, son of former Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul is now a candidate himself. While many wait and wonder what this means for the Republican Party, it is the party themselves which should be reacting. With the citizen-run organization that is the Tea Party now having their stamp on one of our electoral candidates, we have a choice: Follow the new or continue the old. (more)
This administration nor its devotees never cease to amaze. With an opening in the Supreme Court, Obama and his administration had a real chance to show themselves as the leadership they supposedly are. Then America was introduced to Elena Kagan: A Solicitor General who has had zero experience from the court bench despite her attempts to control as such through her past positions such as Dean of the Harvard Law School. Once again, Obama shows his true colors and risks America in the process. (more)
When Obama’s Supreme Court selection turned out to be a woman who never even held a position on the legal bench and had more questions in her career than court cases, most were not surprised and new any resulting decision would be questionable not only when it came to ability and experience but also credibility for the job. Nonetheless, Elena Kagan was not what anyone really expected. (more)
It seems to many there has to be a separate dictionary for democrats than the one which we are taught with in schools and use in our daily lives. There are many words which Obama and the legislative majority have mixed up such as constitutional and more recently, reform. The first hint of this is the ObamaCare that has now already threatened students, small businesses and seniors among others. Now, however, we have victims coming up from yet another liberal launched “reform” bill. (more)
Many recent ObamaCare articles have been headed by one statement: “Now they tell us.” Recent news has shown that organizations and reports are somehow finally announcing that ObamaCare will cost more money than planned and will not be reform after all. Despite these facts not really making an entry into mainstream news, the cost of ObamaCare has been known and reported by many. From organizations to regular people blogs, articles, letters and phone calls screamed what is now finally common knowledge. Hence, the only problem with this “announcement” is that it was already known; it just wasn’t admitted by the much of the mainstream news. (more)
Obama’s litmus test has one thing on it: For the Good of the Party (more)
There is a highly ignored fact of life our nation likes to ignore: America holds many people who we don’t have any knowledge about. People walk among us, almost as invisible as the wind, with no identification cards, numbers or notice of their existence. This is as much a danger as our overseas enemies because they do not need any powerful weapons to destruct; they are in our own backyard. (more)
It is so sad it’s almost funny when a majority political party thinks if they name legislation something positive, the negative aspects will not be examined. There is no debate against the fact that our financial services system is damaged. With remaining scars from Goldman Sacs, Bernie Madoff and others, there is a need for reform. However, the democrats’ definition of such as seen through this recent bill begs to differ from what is really required for us to escape the continuing turmoil of recession. (more)
Well at least now we see a pattern. (more)
