Jeffrey Carson

Candidate for Congress, Virginia 8th District

Born on a US Air Force base in Oxford, England to a fighter pilot and nurse, Jeffrey Carson spent his younger years in the UK and Germany before his family moved back to Manassas, Virginia at the age of 11, where he completed his middle school and high school years. <br /> <br /> He attended college at Florida State University under an ROTC scholarship, afterwards serving his country as a US Army Officer in the 5th Battalion 7th Air Defense Artillery Regiment based in Germany and Italy. He was then deployed with the 19th Battlefield Coordination Detachment to multiple locations inside US Central Command footprint including Iraq, Qatar, and the Persian Gulf.<br /> <br /> After leaving the service he travelled extensively, from Zimbabwe to Australia to South America. His experience attracted him to the study of global economics and finance, and he earned an MBA from Texas Tech University.<br /> <br /> Jeffrey is now back in Northern Virginia, applying his business degree and acquired skills in the field of global technology. He is running for Congress in Virginia’s 8th District because he believes the public deserves to know the truth about Washington. He believes Americans deserve an elected official able to break through party lines, disrupt the status quo, and fundamentally transform Washington’s entrenched political landscape.
