Forbes calculates this list based on a scale made up of earnings, net worth and level of fame, which is determined by media visibility (i.e., number of Twitter followers, TV appearances, interviews, etc.) (more)

Pop superstar Lady Gaga topped Forbes‘ list of “Highest-Paid Celebrities Under 30.” Thanks to worldwide tours and platinum album sales, the 25-year-old eccentric songstress raked in a whopping $90 million this year. Gaga dethroned Beyonce who landed last year’s top spot with earnings of $87 million, but fell to number 8 this year with a meager $35 million. (more)
