Christmas is just around the corner, and in honor of the occasion The Daily Caller’s offices have turned into a “Winter Wonderland,” complete with a tree and lights. We’re making our lists and checking them twice because even if Santa Claus decides we’ve been too naughty, hopefully mommy and daddy will come to the rescue. (Office coordinator Laura Baños wants a “Le Creuset Demi teakettle in Caribbean or royal blue;” relevant persons take note). But in the immortal words of Mariah Carey, “all [TheDC] wants for Christmas is you,” which, at the end of the day, makes for a kind of short list. So to fill it out, we decided to call around town and find out what’s on some other people’s Christmas wish lists. We trust you’ll find the answers as amusing as we do. (more)

WorldNetDaily, a conservative website, announced today that it would drop pundit Ann Coulter from a list of speakers at the site’s annual “Taking America Back National Conference” in September in Miami because she agreed to headline an event sponsored by GOProud, an organization that represents gay conservatives. (more)

After declaring that it’s “really great to be around like-minded folks,” conservative journalist and editor of WorldNetDaily Joseph Farah launched into a ten-minute spiel about President Obama’s citizenship (or, in his mind, possible lack thereof) during the National Tea Party Convention on Friday. The speech, which drew applause from those in attendance, has disappointed and infuriated many conservatives — including some who attended the convention — hoping for a civil tone. (more)
