The woman at the 1:00 mark in this video seems intelligent enough. Then she makes the mistake of opening her mouth and asserting that “there must be a twin conference going on somewhere” as the only explanation for what she’s seeing. Her thought process must’ve gone something like this: (1) Twins have conferences, presumably during which they talk about issues facing twins; (2) Twins act identically at all times; (3) Twins all look alike; (4) It’s a good idea to tell my theory to a guy on the train who’s inexplicably recording me.
