FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — New York Jets linebacker David Harris is practicing after missing two days while recovering from a sprained right ankle.

Harris, the team’s leading tackler, was at his usual inside linebacker spot Thursday and wasn’t noticeably hobbled. He worked on his footwork at times and appeared as though he would be ready for the playoff game Saturday at Cincinnati.

It wasn’t immediately known if Harris was a full participant in practice, or what his status would be listed as on the team’s injury report. Coach Rex Ryan will address the media after practice.

Harris, one of the leaders of the NFL’s top-ranked defense, injured the ankle during the first half of the regular-season finale against Cincinnati last Sunday.
