BRISBANE, Calif. (AP) — Cutera Inc., a maker of laser skin treatment systems used by dermatologists and plastic surgeons, said Monday it expects fourth-quarter revenue of about $15 million.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters forecast, on average, sales of $14.2 million for the quarter ended Dec. 31.
Cutera provided the outlook because it is participating in investor conferences ahead of its earnings report on Feb. 8. It said it does not plan to issue preliminary financial information in the future.
Shares rose 20 cents, or 2.4 percent, to $8.60 in midday trading. The stock has traded in the 52-week range of $5.50 and $9.84.
