BEREA, Ohio (AP) — Authorities say a 65-year-old man has been arrested and charged with shooting at moving cars in the Cleveland suburbs.

Berea (buh-REE’-uh) Police Chief Mark Schulz (shoolts) said in a news release Friday that Paul Hausmann was arrested Tuesday and charged with carrying with concealed weapons and felony assault. Hausmann lives in nearby Strongsville.

Police say Hausmann was arrested in a vehicle and had a revolver and ammunition “consistent with the caliber rounds recovered at the shootings.”

Schulz did not offer information about a possible motive. The chief and federal agents were to hold a news conference later in the day in Berea, southwest of Cleveland.

No one was hurt in the shootings. At least four cars were shot since mid-August.
