DENVER (AP) — Kyle Cumiskey and Matt Duchene each scored twice and Craig Anderson stopped 24 shots, helping the Colorado Avalanche to their fourth straight win in a 6-0 rout of Edmonton on Monday night.

The Oilers have dropped eight straight and 15 of 16.

It was Colorado’s highest offensive output of the season. The Avalanche stayed ahead of Vancouver and Calgary atop the Northwest Division.

John-Michael Liles had a goal and three assists, and Chris Stewart chipped in a goal and an assist. Wojtek Wolski also had three assists.

Anderson wasn’t tested all that often as he earned his career-best fourth shutout of the season. His best save came in the second period, when he slid over to stop Patrick O’Sullivan’s close-in wrist shot.
