If Rusty Boedicker and Edie Yates really want to be the Lakeland city commissioner for Southeast-District D, they’re going to have to face the music from Glenn and the Ledger Editorial Board ahead of January’s special election for the hotly contested seat. Massachusetts is great, but for political junkies who enjoy a good question about electric rates, Lakeland, Florida is clearly the place to be right now.
Can Rusty live down his poor hair styling? Can Edie, once considered the favorite in the race, overcome her dreadful earth tones to pull out a surprise win? Only time will tell.
