The “Jersey Shore” gang is coming back! MTV’s breakout series will return for a second season this summer with 12 new episodes, it was announced on Saturday (January 30) by MTV President of Programming Tony DiSanto. Following the success of season one, Pauly D, Mike, Snooki, Jenni, Sammi, Ronnie and Vinny will escape the cold Northeast and find themselves in a new destination.
“Our audience has fallen in love with ‘ Jersey Shore’ and its amazing cast, who have really grown together as a family,” DiSanto said. “That bond gives the show its heart, and we’re thrilled to reunite these friends to bring fans more of what they love — laughs, love, drama and, of course, GTL.”
