He has written the music for two of Broadway’s biggest shows. Now Elton John is taking his interest in the theatre a stage further.

Today it emerged that the singer and his civil partner David Furnish are going to produce Next Fall, a new play by Geoffrey Nauffts. The play looks at the relationship between two gay men and the strain that their respective religious beliefs puts on them during a five-year period.
