The newspaper company posted higher-than-expected earnings but the company’s advertising climate remains highly uncertain.
The Times clings to the advertising-is-king business model and is likely praying that the moderate increase in newspapers’ fortunes can continue — at least until the Times implements its paid-content online model early next year.
