The fashion world is in shock this afternoon as it learns that Alexander McQueen has been found dead.
The British fashion designer, who was just 40 years old, reportedly took his own life. A statement just released on behalf of his family says ‘On behalf of Lee McQueen’s family, Alexander McQueen today announces the tragic news that Lee McQueen, the founder and designer of the Alexander McQueen brand has been found dead at his home.’
