As many as 25 passengers were killed when two trains crashed head-on and a third was derailed near the Belgian capital Brussels.
Two trains, one travelling from Leuven to Braine-le-Comte and another from Quiévrain to Liege, crashed head-on amid snowy conditions at 7.30 GMT, after at least one of them failed to brake.
