Northern Illinois University has been rocked by another shooting, occurring early this morning. The shooting happened near a university dormitory around 4:30 am. A student was taken to an Kishwaukee Community Hospital, with undisclosed injuries.
The NIU shooting suspect is in custody, according to the DeKalb Police Department. Last week marked the second anniversary of a shooting that claimed the lives of five students in a university classroom.
