GM Gets Final Agreement for Sale of Saab Automobile to Spyker

Feb. 23 (Bloomberg) — General Motors Co. reached a final agreement today to sell Saab Automobile to Spyker Cars NV for cash and preferred shares.

“The transaction secures the future of Saab Automobile and signals the start of an exciting new era for the iconic brand,” Spyker said today in a statement. Spyker Chief Executive Officer Victor Muller signed the final accord in Stockholm.
