Full Study Available in PDF: NTIA reports that this paper confirms that a sizable portion of Americans are still using Internet connections classified as narrowband (less than 200 kilobits per second) or do not have any access to the Internet. To get to these results, NTIA used data collected in October 2009 in combination with data measuring the current population survey from the Census Bureau. NTIA had a total sample size of 54,000 households and 129,000 citizens.
