HARTFORD – The UConn women’s basketball team is so dominant its only competition appears to be previous Huskie powerhouses.
UConn routed Syracuse, 77-41, in the quarterfinals of the Big East Tournament Sunday for its 70th straight win, tying the Division I women’s record for consecutive wins set by UConn from 2001-03.
