Rep. Darrell Issa calls for Congressional investigation into violence and death threats

Rep. Darrell Issa (R – California) is using his position on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to call for Congressional hearings regarding violent acts and death threats made to members of Congress because of health care legislation.

In an interview with MSNBC, Issa said that Congress needs to emphasize that voters should express their anger at the ballot box, not with violence, but also went on to mention the fact that incidents like these reactions had happened previously, such as the period after the Iraq war vote.
